Hadden Group were awarded the contract to build 24 semi-detached homes for South Lanarkshire Council near Northcrofts Road in Biggar after planning permission was granted by the planning committee.
The housing was constructed on a site on the edge of a development of private housing by Story Homes.
Hadden Group in partnership with the council built the homes to meet the demand that exists for social housing in the area.
The site, just over two acres in size, sees a mix of 24 one- and two-storey properties constructed, offering homes of one to four bedrooms for affordable rent.
