Houses for Heroes in Carnoustie

Work on the new build housing development of 16 affordable houses in Carnoustie for Angus Council has now been completed.

The development comprises:

• 1 two storey 3 bedroom terraced house
• 2 two storey 2 bedroom terraced houses
• 8 single storey 1 bedroom semi-detached houses
• 1 single storey 3 bedrrom wheelchair adapted house
• 4 single storey 2 bedroom wheelchair adapted houses

All the homes are  fitted with a whole house mechanical ventilation and heat recovery system.

The Houses for Heroes Scotland housing features specially adapted kitchens suitable for wheelchairs and 2 homes and are fitted with a track and hoist system.
