Hadden Group clubs together to raise nearly £10k for Strathcarron Hospice

Hadden Group hosted their annual charity golf day recently at Crieff Golf Club. The event hosted 33 four ball teams on the course with a Hole in One Competition on the 13th and a Beat the Boss challenge on the 17th.  Hadden Group’s charity committee work exceptionally hard to put on this event and raised a massive total of £9775.60 for our charity partner Strathcarron Hospice. We would like to thank our sponsors and attendees for contributing to such a fantastic cause: Perth & Kinross Council; James Frew; DC Consulting; AJ Gallagher; Parker Energy; Hillcrest Housing Association; Finlaysons Chartered Accountants; Veitchi Flooring; RW Bell Building Services; Scottish Building Federation; G & R Ross; Clear View; Bayne Stevenson Associates; Clancy Consulting; JGM; Robert C Brown; Oliver + Robb Architects; McGarrie; Melvin Brothers; MacGregor Flooring; McKenna Group and Hub East Central Scotland. We were not so lucky with the weather but are very grateful that everyone turned up and enjoyed the day. Thank you once again to all our sponsors for donating and joining us at our annual golf day 2019.

Our hole in one competition had a very near miss from Colin who was competing for the AJ Gallagher Team. Colin’s shot was 4ft away from the hole, making him the closest to winning the car out of all the players. AJ Gallagher are our insurance company and ironically provided the insurance cover for the hole in one!

At the end of some fierce competition we hosted the prize giving following supper and refreshments in the Crieff Golf Club Clubhouse and the following winners:

  • Nearest to Pin on the 1st Hole: Hillcrest Housing Association
  • Shortest drive off the 1st Tee: Alan Webster (Hadden Group)
  • Longest Drive – 9th Hole: Willie McGuire (M&S Civils)
  • Scratch Winner: Murray Stewart Memorial Trophy – James Kennedy (Melvin Brothers)
  • Stableford Team Winner: Dundee Plant
  • Stableford Team Runner-Up: Oliver and Robb Architects
  • Stableford Team 3rd Place: Boyles Stonemasons
  • Hadden Ball Competition: Carter Ceilings
