COVID-19 Update

I hope you are safe and well in the current climate.

Following the First Minister’s address to Parliament yesterday afternoon, where she outlined the changes to the current Tier 4 restrictions in place in mainland Scotland, I can confirm that after meetings with our COVID-19 Management Group and the Board, we have reviewed the implications of this to our business

In line with the Government directive all our office based staff are working from home with the exception of our core Finance & Accounts team who will remain based in the office as we are satisfied that we have sufficiently reduced and managed the risks associated with COVID-19.

For staff working at home who would normally visit sites for meetings (Quantity Surveyors, Planner, Preconstruction Managers) they will still visit sites as and when required to carry out their roles whilst following strictly our existing COVID-19 protocols and procedures when on site.

In accordance with Scottish Government guidance all our construction sites remain open.

With respect to our general site and office environments, I would reinforce that we should ensure that our COVID-19 protocols and procedures are complied with fully. Face coverings should be worn on site at all times and our signage and wash stations should all be regularly maintained and our toilets and other communal areas are kept clean along with 2m social distancing on site and in canteen areas.

We will review these measures on an ongoing basis in line with any further changes to restrictions imposed by Scottish Government.

Meantime our Pre-Construction, Estimating and Bidding Teams remain active whilst working safely from home at present servicing current and new project enquiries across tenders and secured framework direct awards to ensure an ongoing forward pipeline of projects. I’d encourage you to get in touch with us if we can help in any way with your new project construction requirements.

Finally I’m very proud of the resilience and commitment displayed by our people throughout this ongoing trying period for everyone and I look forward us making a return to a sense of normality for us all in the near future.

Yours sincerely

Steven Brady BSc. MRICS

Managing Director
