A magnificent seven for Hadden General Works with West Lothian Council

Hadden Group’s General Works division were awarded seven early years nursery projects at the beginning of the summer, and we are pleased to say we completed all the projects on-time and to budget ready for the children returning to school. These works were directly awarded through the SPA Schools and Community Buildings Framework. Hadden General Works provided both pre-construction services and delivery on site allowing the projects to be completed to challenging timescales.

The successfully delivered projects are as follows:

• St Nicholas Primary School – New Accessible WC
• St Nicholas Nursery – Nursery alterations, toilet and kitchen refurbishment plus a new external canopy
• St Columba’s Nursery – Alterations, new glazed screen, canopy and toilet refurbishment
• Carmondean Nursery – Alterations, kitchen refurbishment, new toilet and new double doors.
• Bridgend Nursery – Alterations, new disabled toilet, glazed screen and external canopy.
• Deans Nursery – Alterations, new glazed screen and external works.
• Dechmont Infant School – Infant toilet, nursery toilet and external canopy.

We have had some great feedback on these projects already with the Head Teacher at Deans Nursery stating: “What a difference to the Nursery. Great job! Doors and Nursery work looking brilliant!”.

The Hadden General Works Team have also been working on four early years nursery projects for Angus Council at Inverkeillor Primary School; Friockheim Primary School; Mattock Primary School and Northmuir Primary School.
