Supporting Action for Children Youthbuild

As part of our commitment to provide community benefits in the areas we work we are pleased to be working with Action for Children Scotland on their Youthbuild scheme to provide young people with jobs in the construction industry.The main benefit is giving a young person the chance to change their life for the better and provide valuable work experience that will support their career within the construction industry for the future.

At our £4.3m Kirkliston Primary School refurbishment and extension with the City of Edinburgh Council we have engaged with the Youthbuild Scheme to provide Jacob Gallacher who is 19 years old an initial 4 week placement followed by a permanent position. Pictured is Jacob on site.
