Our General Works department has successfully completed works to the historic much loved and well used 19th Century Kenmore Reading Room in Highland Perthshire.

This piece of careful conservation work involved maintenance works to the building to ensure it is fit for purpose for the next century and comprised:

• wet rot repairs, 
• re-slating of the roof, 
• lead work
• repairs to the cast iron rainwater goods
• external redecoration
• replication of external timber fretwork
