General Works Update

Our General Works Department was set up in May 2010, has a turnover to date of approximately £3.5m and has successfully delivered over 90 projects in the last 4½ years.

We operate in both the private and public sector on commercial, education, retail and industrial projects ranging from £10k to £250k.

Recent clients include:

• Heriot Watt University
• Sandvik UK
• Perth & Kinross Council
• Stirling Council
• National Trust for Scotland
• Forestry Commission
• Hillcrest Housing Association
• NHBC
• Aberuthven Village Hall Trust

We are currently working with Perth & Kinross Council as a contractor on their Framework for minor works to public buildings from April 2014 to March 2017.

The minor works projects include new works, improvements, alterations and maintenance works to non-domestic properties up to £150,000 in value.

Current projects include:

• Madderty Primary School
• Gowans Child and Family Centre.
• Woodlea Cottage, Perth

We are also partnered with NHBC to carry out remedial works contracts throughout Scotland. 

The General Works Team is managed by Jan Birse and includes Doloretta Clarkson, Graeme Burrow, Kenny Paterson, Brian Cowie and Hugh Daly.

Jan is keen to establish new customers on a range of works from the smaller value building projects to larger scale maintenance and repair works.
