Our Business Development Director Stephen Lynas recently visited Fintry Primary School in Dundee to speak to the pupils about the use of digital technology in construction as part of the school’s Digital Learning Week events. Fintry Primary School has an extremely active ICT programme which led to them being awarded Digital School status in March 2018.

The visit was arranged through the Founders4Schools programme which is an initiative to inspire students by connecting them with local business leaders and prepare them for the rapidly changing world of work.

The children enjoyed an interactive presentation that covered a range of technologies across all areas of construction including communication, social media, marketing, design, surveying & construction operations. We even managed to weave a bit of Fortnite and Minecraft in as well!
