Our recently refurbished Birks Cinema project in Aberfeldy has been nominated for 2 Scottish Property Awards as well as picking up 2 awards from the RIAS Dundee Insitute of Architects (DIA)

The DIA awarded the project its Supreme Award 2013 for the best building along with picking up the Award for Best Client.

In the Scottish Property Awards it has been shortlisted in the  Architectural Excellence Category and the Town Centre Regeneration of The Year Category.

The Scottish Property Awards is a new independent awards programme which highlights the best commercial and public building work in Scotland. 

Experts drawn from the property industry gathered in Edinburgh recently to consider over 60 entries received from 45 companies, including developers, agents, funders and architects.

Winners have now been chosen in 12 categories but contenders will have to wait until February to find out when the announcement is made at an awards dinner to be held in Edinburgh.

The art deco style building which was almost derelict has now been transformed into a modern cinema, restaurant and cafe bar.
