This award winning contemporary new home for a private client is set in a truly stunning wooded rural area of the village.
The home features a Metsec Frame construction and incorporates underfloor heating along with an air source heat pump.
The large extent of glazing provides a bright and airy interior that is flooded with light.
Sliding doors provide access to external balconies offering extensive views across the valley.
The construction of this home presented a unique challenge in that there was a 5 tonne weight restriction on the access road which required careful planning and logistics to give construction materials and plant access.
The house was awarded a Stirling Civic Trust Biennial award for the Best New Building 2010 to 2014.
