Haugh Street, Falkirk

Description

Located in Langlees, North of Falkirk city centre, this site was
previously used as a Social Club, and was built in the early 1960's.
The Social Club was closed, and has not been in use for a number of years.

The project comprises a new build affordable housing development consisting of two blocks containing 8no. cottage style 2 bedroomed flats.

Enabling works required the demolition of the former social club.

The design includes Photovoltaic Panels on the roofs in line with
Falkirk Council's supplementary guidance on 'Low & Zero Carbon
Development' (SG15).

Sustainable design principles in line with Falkirk Council's 'Open
Space and New Residential Development' Policy (INF04) have been
used to fit the proposed housing development into the existing
landscape.
