Hadden Construction Charity Golf Outing

Our 6th annual Hadden Construction Charity Golf Outing was held on Friday 27th June at Crieff Golf Club.

Participants including clients,  suppliers, sub-contractors and Hadden staff enjoyed a good day of golf followed by a meal and the usual prize giving.

The winner of the Murray Stewart Memorial Trophy this year was our surveyor Donald McDonald who is pictured here with Director Scott Hadden.

This year we managed to raise £3,000 of which £2,500 is being donated to Scotlands Charity Air Ambulance who are based at Perth Airport in Scone .  SCAA provide a fully equipped medical helicopter to assist the Scottish Air Ambulance Service in attending time-critical emergencies across the length and breadth of Scotland.

SCAA is not supported by any statutory funding and relies soley on donations from private individuals, companies and community trusts.

The remaining £500 is being donated to Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland who help to support individuals who are affected by chest, heart or stroke illness and also provide financing for more than 30 major research projects in Scotlands leading hospitals and medical schools.

We've now raised almost £20,000 from our golf outings with previous donations being made to Macmillan Cancer Support,  SSPCA, CHAS Rachel House, Help for Heroes and Crossroads.
