Work begins on new Head Office extension
Work has now started on the £500,000 extension of our Head Office in Aberuthven.
The decision to build was prompted by a recent pick-up in the market which has seen us win a host of new contracts. The plan for the extension was originally on the cards ahead of the 2008 banking crash but was put on hold thanks to the economic slowdown which followed. Now we feel the market is picking up a wee bit so it's time to push the button on our plans.
The new development is expected to be complete by Christmas and will give us more office space with the additional capacity giving room for growth as the economic recovery gathers pace.
Recruitment is currently under way for a string of roles but we expect business to grow organically, with margins on contracts still tight.
The Company has been trading from our base at Aberuthven Business Park since 2000 after being established in Crieff some 22 years ago. Recent new contracts include work on a lottery funded community centre at Newmains outside Wishaw and council housing in Carnoustie and at Balfron in Stirlingshire. We are also building a new £1.6m childrens home in Arbroath and other publicly supported projects in Killin and Clackmannanshire.
